AN AFTERNOON OF VARSITY

As we mentioned in today's earlier post, this afternoon we shoot a load of varsity stuff. We're uploading it as we speak.

We know that the above Detroit jersey is mah-ussive but they are super comfy this big.Plus the model is a teeny weeny size 8 so the majority of stuff looks bigger on her.

We're also totally in love with this top.Like a crop top but with an extra bit of mesh that makes it full length. Love it.

Today is Wednesday. Wednesday is hump day. As Wednesday is the middle of the week. And when Wednesday is over the week is basically over. Especially this week..because it's a four day weekend!Yay bank holiday yay!

However, however, a plague has taken over Milk.it HQ so the chances are we'll all be in bed over the long weekend feeling sorry for ourselves.

f*ckers. f*ck*ng plague sh*t.

We don't know whether it's the thought of this four day weekend..or the knowledge that summer is (apparently) around the corner...or maybe we're all just a little bit delirious from our colds..but something has made us denim crazy. Denim jackets.Denim shorts.Double denim - a strong look.

Only realized as I loaded these pictures that all these denim jackets are customized jackets...oooo very exciting.

MONDAY FCKNG MONDAY

Oh what a lovely bl**dy monday. NOT. It's freezing.To the point that my hands are so numb when I type this that I am literally smashing these dull,lifeless hand shaped blue limbs into the keyboard in hope that what I type is correct.
Is it really so much to ask that someone invents a motorized bed that wheels itself to wherever you need to be (work..the pub..somewhere hot..) without you actually having to get out of it in the first place?If I had a bed like that I could be working from my desk comfortably.Warm,with a cup of tea not in a paper cup, in my pj's.
If it was snowing the cold wouldn't seem as bad.At least then it would be cold for a reason..It's probably too cold to snow..It's probably to cold to survive..
And so - in the likely, somewhat impending event of all of us here at Milk.it HQ freezing over and turning into human shaped icicles, might I take this moment to say if that does happen, that will be why the asos store and blog go quiet. If that does happen please do be patient until we have all defrosted.

ALSO

After re-reading our previous post about all the American vintage we've got in we realized that,what with the bad weather we're currently enduring,perhaps not everyone is feeling brave enough to risk going out dressed like this..

And - despite how much we love this look - I for one,at this moment in time,understand your reasoning. Too bloody cold.

SO what are we going to do about this predicament? We've got the clothes for summer we just don't have the summer!

Here's a few ideas on how to wear your jerseys in sh*t weather,straight from Milk.it HQ.

Perhaps the most obvious,you could wear them with jeans.

(keep ya little legs warm..er)

Or under a beaten up leather jacket.

Or with a bomber jacket.

(almost overdosing on american vintage)

Or a denim jacket.

Or (as shown) with shorts..maybe pair them with thick tights at the moment.

We also love just wearing them around the house.With big comfy socks and a big mug of something hot.

There are sooooo many ways to wear these.Whether you love an oversized one or something a little more petite, we love 'em all.each and every one.

BULL

AFTERNOON ALL. Woah sorry caps lock..we weren't yelling.

Despite the freezing cold Spring that is currently gracing Essex, we're still thinking summer.Yes,even though the sky is grey,and there is a cool/below zero arctic breeze blowing through our hair we are staying strong and faithful to our dream of a beautiful British summer.
