Things to come...

Afternoon all.
It's only bloody payday tomorrow! We know what we're going to be doing...Celebrating payday..obviously.
Does anyone else do that thing when you're window shopping online and you add things into your 'bag' or 'basket' or whatever in anticipation for the time that the money you've earned that month goes into your account..however little it may be..even if its a few days before...Yeah we do that quite a lot here too..If they were real baskets boy oh boy would they be breaking our arms and overflowing!

I don't know what it's like where you are but over at Milk.it HQ it's still way grey and rainy and it shows no signs of stopping. Apparently the weather man said that apparently it's going to get warmer by the end of next week and we might start getting weather that actually reflects the month..I don't think I believe him...He's lied one too many times and he's lost my trust..
SO, if where you are is anything like where we are then you're weekend will probably be spent nursing a postpaydaycelebrationhangover on the sofa, while the rain pours down outside your window, with multiple cups of tea and food that you know is wrong..all the while browsing the interweb for clothes that you really really want.no clothes that you really really need.
As fellow hungover weekend internet shoppers we understand that sometimes you can get caught up in the excitement of shopping online from the comfort of your sofa and get a bit unnecessarily carried away. We know that in the excitement it can become hard to draw the line. Sometimes it's hard to hear that your budget just will not stretch to cover multiple dresses,a bag,a pair of shoes, a few beanies (for those days when you really can't be bothered to wash your hair...or errr...it's cold..),a new phone case and some kind of fancy mug..
You gotta give yourself a limit (Learnt the hard way)
We also understand that sometimes, in the kerfuffle, some things may get over looked. Some staple pieces. For example...

(please excuse the haziness of these pictures..we don't know why this has happened)

From our new reworked collection this little clutch would be great with a little black dress.Or a long black dress.Whatever floats your boat.

These two black dresses would be great with the above bag.

The dress on the left is a lovely little fitted black shift dress.
Would look great with a cute pair of heels and a big jacket.
Think Jane Birkin on a night out in London in the swinin' 60's
The dress on  the right is a suuuuper cute black velvet dress.
It's fitted on the arms and a little loosely fitted on't body.Love it.

This green leather rucksack was really hard to see go.We all wanted it.Alas,we are devoted to the cause and we know that it would have a very happy home with one of you lovely people.
(p.s. how super cute would this bag look with that black velvet dress,a pair of white socks and some Dr Martens?!)

Right,hear us out.
Forget all the stupid things that are associated with pleated tartan skirts and think about things like Clueless..

( Oh Britanny,we heart you)

Either of the above are the kind of Dr Martens we were talking about earlier.Cuuuuuuute.

While we're on the subject of Clueless,we might as well bring in these bad boys. Bit of tie dye and some dungarees.Hollaaaaa

We know that perhaps wearing a tie dye top underneath either of these dungarees is pretty daring so you could always match them with a cute black or white t-shirt.or crop top.everyone loves a crop top.

The above two items come up quite oversized on a girl but we love a bit of 'boyfriend fit' over at Milk.it HQ - so comfy and super cute!
Alternatively both of these would look great on a guy.So snap these up fo yo man and make him look good.
Or,if you are a man,do yourself (and us) a favor and make yourself look good.

The above is another example of some of the stuff from our reworked range.
Looks great as a dress or paired with skinny jeans.

If there's one thing I like (I say 'I' but I mean all of us here at Milk.it HQ) it's a vintage denim jacket with a sh*t load of patches on.
We know that you can literally never go wrong with even a plain vintage denim jacket..and,granted, in certain situations, nothing else will do.
It's just that there's something about the addition of these random patches over an extended period of time, a time spent with it's previous owner/s, a time that we have never known or seen and a time that we can only hope to adhere to, that makes these jackets so special. Sometimes, obviously, the patches themselves (and even the jacket itself) are sh*t.
Like, total shit - linkin park patches on a 2 year old jacket from a high street store kind of shit. It's not even real denim for gods sake.
(yes,we know everything is down to personal taste and opinion blah blah blah)
But other times you get come across a good one.Like this Lee Storm Rider denim jacket with these patches on. Memphis Red Sox.
That's cool right?
..not if you're the White Sox..

Please note that the items we've spoken about aren't on our store yet.So keep your eyes on it or you'll miss 'em.
